Electrical Engineer | Lernia | Borås

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our extended team in Borås, collaborating closely with our Göteborg-based colleagues. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering customized technical solutions for Customer Adaptation projects. This includes system design, component installation, and media routing. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Design: Develop and support technical solutions based on specific prerequisites, including system design and installation requirements.
• Component Installation: Lead and support the installation of components and routing of electrical wiring, pneumatic pipes, and brake hoses in our buses.
• Customer Adaptation: Investigate existing solutions documented in tools such as KOLA and CATIA, develop new solutions documented in KAP, and create layouts in CATIA.
• Project Delivery: Actively participate in project delivery by integrating inputs from others, ensuring quality and readiness, and confirming that designs meet business targets and requirements.
• Innovation and Development: Contribute to business development and innovation. Provide input based on historical component data and collaborate across the organization to optimize processes.

Examples of Customer Orders: Extending wheelbase, new fuel tank installations, and repositioning battery boxes, among others.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in 2D wiring design tools
• Extensive experience in CATIA V5, specifically in electrical harness and power cable routing.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and take initiative in projects.
• Attention to Detail: Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in engineering adjustments.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with good communication skills in Swedish.
• Commitment: Able to work on-site at our Borås factory at least three days per week.
